WOVEN SILHOUETTES WORKSHOP

Join us this Friday night for a very special, one-of-a-kind weaving workshop with artist Rachel Wood.

Time: 6pm - 9pm

Unwind for the evening as you settle behind a handcrafted loom and explore the art of weaving through the evocative language of silhouettes.

Silhouettes are powerful. They’re simple yet full of meaning, capable of capturing the essence of a subject without intricate detail. In this immersive workshop, Rachel will guide you in using basic lighting techniques to capture your silhouette, set up your loom, and begin weaving your unique shape into fabric.

Through hands-on demonstrations and one-on-one support, Rachel will help you bring your vision to life, encouraging you to discover your personal weaving style and creative voice.

No experience needed—all skill levels are warmly welcome.

All materials are provided, but please feel free to bring in some small items (vases, leaves or flowers, figurines work well) or any specific yarn you wish to incorporate into your artwork.
